It has been a long while since I’ve been available to keep up the blog. Much has happened and our lives have been changed by many events. But the one thing to know is that Jesus is still on the thrown of grace. I encourage you today if you don’t know Jesus, give him your life and watch him change you. So often we attempt to do things are own way and end up with the same results. This year, this day, this hour try something different. Give your life to Jesus. I’m up late just working on music and came up with this catchy tune. No words yet but, I thought about giving my live up to Jesus and what it means as I recorded it. I wanted to just take a moment a post a few comments about my playing lastnight at my friends appreciation dinner. Had a wonderful time in the Lord and met some great saints. I ended up playing a whole lot more than originally expected but as the bible says some time you have to be ready instant in season and out of season. I was ready and we had a great time lifting up and praising Jesus together in song. One fun part was when I played “Lift Your Name on High” on the sax, my Island arrangement, the kids starting doing a train of sorts around the dinner hall. Its was pretty funny and yet geniune. We really enjoyed ourself both my family and guests. Know that God can do some really big things if you let him. I never expect to get an invitation to be a guest musician, but God is opening doors for me as I go further and learn this wonderful instrument. I will continue to stay humble and believe that he will increase my talents as I use them for his service.

On top of all the lord is doing for me I got a request from a friend to play at his farwell dinner hosted by his church is hosting for him before he goes to pastor a new church. God is so great. I’m happy to be able to share in the gift of music.

I welcome you to the site. I’ve made a few additions to the site on the Live Performances page. I’ve uploaded a few videos from my latest event First Friday, this past weekend. Please enjoy them and feel free to leave comments as I enjoyed playing and always good feedback. I did play one song this weekend that didn’t go too well due to a cracked reed. I didn’t discover this until the next day so I re-recorded the song last night. I believe its much better and know there Lord was it it. We need to let God’s anointing fall on us to properly minister to the world and be a light unto this generation.  Please enjoy.

It is yet another month gone by so quickly and Jesus is blessing my playing each time I pick up the Sax. I feel such a fire of God and his Word is alive in me. This past weekend I went to a tent revival and was blessed very much by the word. Just a day earlier I preached and I can tell you that the Word of God is so great. It has prepared me for this friday’s event, First Friday Oct. 2009 in Augusta, Ga. I’m ready to minister the Word through Music as David. Be in prayer with me that a soul is touched. This is not just performing, but telling of the goodness of Jesus.

Anyway at the revival I recorded some clips of me and another brother playing the Sax during service. I really enjoyed playing while the power of God was moving and as Jesus ordained servants to be ABLE ministers. I’m asking the Lord to keep me santified as I come and go and to use me as he pleases. I pray the music blesses you.
